What these numbers mean
These are one-hour PM2.5 concentrations in µg/m³ for Singapore's five reporting regions, not the 24-hour PSI. The displayed Singapore range is the minimum and maximum across five regions, not a national average or your precise location.
NEA's local one-hour bands: Normal (0–55), Elevated (56–150), High (151–250), Very High (251+). For detailed activity guidance consult haze.gov.sg.
About the satellite layer
Optional imagery is NASA GIBS VIIRS NOAA-20 corrected reflectance (true colour). It shows a satellite observation on the selected date; it is not a ground-level PM2.5 map, a validated smoke-only product or a live video. Cloud and satellite gaps affect visibility. Satellite tiles load only when you enable the layer.

Data provenance
Official PM2.5 from data.gov.sg / NEA. Satellite tiles from NASA GIBS. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors. Each reading retains its original observation timestamp; if delayed, it is labelled stale rather than treated as current.
